Due to projected enrollment size for the 2012-2013 school year, this campus has been closed to new transfers, except for siblings of students who currently attend and who will attend next year. Please be aware that if your student is not zoned to this campus or does not already attend this campus on an approved transfer, this campus is closed and will not be accepting any NEW transfer requests for the following school year, 2012-2013.

LISD is offering a wide variety of academic camps this summer, including writing, foreign language, culinary, math, science and technology. Camps range from 3 – 5 days and offer skill levels from beginners to advanced. All camp instruction is sponsored by an approved Leander ISD teacher.

The clinic is now accepting gently used clothing and shoe donations  for our children within LISD  (the clothes closet). Items can be brought to the clinic .

Please remember, when your child is sent home with fever over 100.4, vomiting, diarrhea or other contagious illness, he/she needs to be free of symptoms for a 24 hour period without the use of medication before returning to school. If the doctor prescribes your child antibiotics, he/she must be on the antibiotic for 24 hours before to returning to school. These guidelines are followed to prevent the spread of illness to other students.

We want to encourage all Jim Plain Elementary students to be college and career minded.
